The North Tahoe Business Association provides vital information necessary for your business to succeed, an opportunity for your voice to be heard and access to decision makers. Benefits of Membership Business Advocacy The NTBA is committed to implementing the Main Street program to revitalize the business communities in North Lake Tahoe. The organization is focused on making the North Shore economically viable and pedestrian friendly. Four committees have been formed to provide opportunities for member input: Organization, Promotion, Design and Economic Restructuring. Business Networking Quarterly mixers and monthly meetings provide NTBA members and Main Street volunteers with opportunities to network with other business owners. Communication Quarterly newsletters and weekly email broadcasts provide up-to-date information about the Kings Beach Core Improvement Project, Main Street projects and upcoming event information. Education/Training The NTBA sponsors events and programs to assist members in improving leadership and business skills. Programs will include annual regional leadership training and business forums. Promotion NTBA members receive a free listing in the business services directory and on our website, as well as mention on a poster at any of our NTBA-sponsored events. Representation The NTBA represents member interests with local and state agencies including Placer County, Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and Cal Trans. The organization also appoints representatives to attend other agency functions including the Workforce Housing Association of Truckee Tahoe, North Tahoe Regional Advisory Council and the North Lake Tahoe Resort Association.
